Silver Wood is tucked away in prestigious Paterson Lane, with views of the ocean and the treetops your uninterrupted vista and the sounds of the ocean and birdlife the soundtrack to your Lodge holiday. This latest new-build in the BBA portfolio, like its smaller ‘sibling’, Montauk, which sits privately at the base of the block, is pure sophistication and the pinnacle of Byron Bay luxury. It is unique, totally bespoke, and just a few minutes walk to Clarke’s Beach, iconic Top Shop, Beach café/restaurant, Captain Cook Lookout, Tallows Beach and the Cape Byron Lighthouse walking track.
The three story recycled jarrah-clad building oozes elegance and unbridled luxury at every turn. Its high-end interior finishes and minimalist aesthetic blends beautifully elements like rough hewn timber paneling with the earthy richness of limestone floors, custom-made soft furnishings with the clean lines of soft-leather covered contemporary chairs, Italian crystal door handles and marble basins, and always metres of billowing natural-fibre curtains.
All four bedrooms have 5 star resort-style beds with deep luxurious bed toppers, and the master suite, with its kingsize bed, enjoys stunning views to Julian Rocks. A deep bath with its own views of Tallows Beach is just one feature of the master ensuite. There are two additional bathrooms and a powder room.
There’s a media room, separate entertainment spaces, and an open-plan kitchen, living, dining room. The focal point of the living area is a sleek fireplace and the fully provisioned kitchen, with its stone benchtops and Miele appliances sits in front of every entertainer's dream butler's pantry. The area is flooded with natural light from the striking overhead skylights and come night, it’s awash with soft mood lighting.
